.. Our dream left in the drawer for many years, finally comes true…

Step by step the historic former rectory building dating from the XVII century, an accomodation for generations of farmers and a successive residence of a priest who stayed here for almost half a century, has been restored with a precise and accurate restoration. With the purpose of keeping the building true to its historical origins the home is constructed of stones and arched ceilings as a homage to its treasured past.

The peacefulness of the place and the desire to meet new people from different cultures encouraged us to use a part of the house to accommodate guests in such a way as to render our home always vital and dynamic.

The sweet chirping of the birds that often delights us during the day inspired the name “Locus Amoenus” which we have given to our bed and breakfast.

I’m Gabriella and I attend of the management of the house, sometimes supported by my husband and my children Silvia and Giacomo.
